The mission of the Summerour Middle School media program is to construct a warm and inviting atmosphere that fosters a lifelong love for reading. The media specialist and teachers will collaborate together to create lessons that utilize technology and literacy skills to build a community of well-informed students. We look forward to your visit to the media center!

Monday - Friday
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
(when school is in session)
Checkout
Students may check out three items at a time. Books are loaned for two weeks; magazines are loaned for one week. Students may place items on hold in the media center and through the Media Catalog access from home through MyEclass.
We encourage students to return books within the two week check-out period as a courtesy to other students who may be waiting to utilize those items. Overdue fines will not be charged; however, students will be expected to pay fines for lost books. Hardbacks are $20.00. Paperbacks are $10.00. Damage to books that is repairable will be assessed as a separate fine.
